About

About

MY BACKGROUND

With a passion for social justice. I am an upbeat, self-motivated team player with excellent communication. I have the skill set and professional background necessary to dive deep and lay a foundation of equity within a breadth of arenas. With a bachelor's degree in Africana Studies, I can relate to people from all walks of life. I bring this ability into the post-secondary classroom, community forums, workshops, and digital spaces where students and audiences can learn, have fun, and find their voice. I have had the professional privilege of developing experience in multiple capacities: tutor, mentor, teacher's assistant, and teacher. I have also taught at all levels and within interpreter training programs. I'm excited to continue applying my knowledge in the classroom and collaborate with colleagues. Browse my site to see all that I have to offer.
