About
MY BACKGROUND
With a passion for social justice. I am an upbeat, self-motivated team player with excellent communication. I have the skill set and professional background necessary to dive deep and lay a foundation of equity within a breadth of arenas. With a bachelor's degree in Africana Studies, I can relate to people from all walks of life. I bring this ability into the post-secondary classroom, community forums, workshops, and digital spaces where students and audiences can learn, have fun, and find their voice. I have had the professional privilege of developing experience in multiple capacities: tutor, mentor, teacher's assistant, and teacher. I have also taught at all levels and within interpreter training programs. I'm excited to continue applying my knowledge in the classroom and collaborate with colleagues.
